Hardwood floor refinishing:
Refinishing or Resurfacing your existing hardwoods is a great way to being your floor back to life. There are a few different methods to achieve this new look. One way is to sand your floor down to the raw wood and then apply a protective layer of finish to the floor. This way gives you a nice natural wood look, and depending on the species, you can have a wide variety of grain patterns in the floor that many love. Another method is to sand the floor and then stain the floor to a color you prefer. There are many different stain colors from very light colors to the darkest and many in between. We can fine tune different stains to closely achieve a color that you would like to match. And lastly if you like the color of your floors and they aren’t damaged you can choose to buffer the floor and put a new coat of finish. This can be used to make an old floor appear new, it is also used for maintenance, or to change the finish layer on top to a matte or to a higher gloss.

Hardwood floor installation:
There are many reasons to install hardwood floors. Reasons some chose too are the existing floor is outdated or to upgrade your floors. Hardwood floors are very durable and have been in use for a very long time. They can give your space a nice clean look while also giving you protection. Also different species of wood can be used to accomplish different goals. The most common in today’s use is oak floors, but other types of wood such as maple, cherry wood, walnut, and more can be used to gain a new look or style on the floor. Oak is the most common and most cost efficient hardwood, and some of the more exotic species can be used for more of an artisan look.

Engineered Prefinished Hardwood Floors:
Hardwood floors that are prefinished from the manufactures , are stained, and aluminum oxide protective finishes applied, aluminum oxide finishes are the strongest and hardest flooring finishes available today. The beauty of engineered wood floors is that they are cross plied construction. What it ultimately means is that it is a more stable floor with less movement from moister. Engineered floors can be installed below grade and come in all species and board widths.

Unfinished engineered hardwood floors:
Has the same cross plied constructions with the face layer to be unfinished which allows us install over concrete on a lower level and match it up to the hardwood flooring that are on the main or upper floors.

Luxury vinyl tile or LVT floors integrate wood, stone, and tile with a layer of protective vinyl. LVT is a great product because it offers water resistant capabilities and also high traffic durability. LVT is a perfect product for bathrooms, kitchens, or basements, but a lot of home owners are staring to use throughout their home. A vinyl layer on the surface of the product can give you numerous looks like stone, tile, or even wood. The stone middle layer gives you the durability to walk for miles on the floor. These two elements combined provide you with the strength you need and more while also serving as the water resistant materials.
